Yeast infection question

Yesterday I posted asking if a certain type of discharge was a yeast infection and a few ppl told me yes. Yesterday was the first time I noticed the weird discharge and there was a lot of it. Today however, it all looks normal. Does the different type of discharge sort of come and go for a yeast infection? I was still planning on calling my doctor but I don’t really want to go if I don’t need too.

*update; added pic below. It’s whitish/yellow. No weird smell and I don’t itch. I noticed it last night after my shower for just a couple hours and that was it*
