My 3 week old has the hardest time with my right side. I'm pretty sure it's due to fast let down. He will pull off, sometimes choke, but always cries and it takes awhile to get him to settle down again. I usually have to put him on my other breast.

I've read the lean back position (which we struggle to latch because of his lack of head control) and the pumping or hand expressing before, but my question is does it get better? I feel so bad for him. TIA
