TTC after miscarriage. How long should I wait?

How soon after a miscarriage did you start trying to conceive again?
I have heard so many different answers, I would love to know your insights!

I feel that if your ready emotionally and physically then go for it. We miscarried 12/10 at 6 weeks and  are currently 5 weeks pregnant with our second pregnancy. We didn’t wait for my period to return, just tracked ovulation to give us a date and went for it.

We started right away. Miscarried 1/17 at 5 weeks. Hcg was 0 on 1/22. I ovulated yesterday, so fingers crossed 🤞🏻🌈

With my 1st mc we waited til I got my period back & got pregnant on the first try. 
With my 2nd mc (9 years later) We started tracking ovulation right away, got a positive opk 2 weeks after my mc & now hopefully I'm pregnant. 😊

I waited until after I got a period, for me it just helped with tracking my cycle and got everything on track. By then my HCG was sufficiently down as well. I also had an HSG (an X-ray to determine the shape of my uterus and health of my tubes) so I had to ensure I was not pregnant for that! I think it’s a personal decision for sure but allowing your HCG to drop back down will ensure less stress when taking pregnancy tests and trying to see if it’s a new pregnancy or leftover HCG. I miscarried on dec 22 and stopped bleeding dec 28. I was told to wait 3 months to try again but with my period over ( got it back Jan 27 ) we are trying again now

They usually say to wait for a period, that’s more for dating reasons and seeing how far along you are. But some people get pregnant before anyways. The general consensus seems to be to wait two weeks before having sex after a miscarriage though to let the body heal.
