I don’t want the epidural. But I also can’t stand pain.

This will be my first baby & I’m getting an epidural. As much as I hate needles and am scared to death of that part, i just feel like it’d be best for me to do.

Natural with pain meds. Without epidural. I was so proud of myself. 27.5 hours of labor, 1 hour of pushing and complications on my side after giving birth. I am incredibly grateful I said no to the epidural, I am glad I got to experience true labor.

Depends on my labor situation. If I’m in a lot of pain and can’t bare I’ll probably ask for an epidural, but if I feel like the babies coming quickly I’ll probably do it completely naturally and let my body do what it’s supposed to

I was going to try no epidural. But I’m telling you, after being in early labor for daaaays, and only dilating to a 2 after all of that, I got an epidural. They were prepping the OR for a C-section because that was my last option when the doctor came in to check me for the last time, and she was amazed and double checked ... I was almost completely dilated and ended up with a vaginal birth! I’m CONVINCED it was because I was finally able to rest and relax after several days because of that epidural. Props to women who can go without, but I am SOOO thankful for mine! After all, there’s no reward for not getting one 🤷🏽‍♀️

I had an epidural with my first and will again with this one! I was only a 4 when I got it and was the best decision for me. I enjoyed not being in pain and was only in labor for 7 hours and pushed only 2 times!

I wanted epidural but didn’t have time. It wasn’t as bad as I thought. The adrenaline and the pushing kept the pain away. Kinda glad I didn’t get it! Next baby I’ll go with out as well

Super terrified of needles can’t even handle the stress of a damn iv 😂 always get all sweaty and heart rate goes up so definitely natural like I did with my other two children but I think I have a high pain tolerance because the last two kids wasn’t really that bad 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

Birth plan has always been for a 100% natural birth or water birth. But my pregnancy has been riddled with complications and almost loosing my son. So water birth is out now. Adding insult to injury, my son has been frank breech since 17 weeks 4 days. So we are now having to wait and see if I need to have a C-section....biggest fear and has me in tears daily from stress. 36 weeks today and have lost almost all hope of having a good birth. Stinks because I’m a first time mom and this is now enough to make it so I will never have another child.....
