Any experience with fetal pole, but no heart beat on first ultrasound?

I went in for an ultrasound, had and internal US and tech saw the fetal pole- it measured 6 weeks and 4 days- but no heartbeat. I will have a new scan this Friday. Please share any and all experiences with this please. I need more knowledge on the topic.

Wait until after 10 weeks to scan unless you are having a lot of pain or bleeding as there’s not much point before then. Best of luck :) x
