Went for a regular check up today, blood pressure was extremely high (177/109) doctor sent me to L&D. Had blood work done and turns out that I have severe preclampsia. Doctor started me on Pitocin, and aside from being really scared that it's all happening so fast, I'm also extremely depressed that I won't be going home with my baby girl. Nurses said by standard, any babies born before 36 will have to stay in NICU until her due date.. Any of you ladies give birth or know of any mommys who gave birth at 35 weeks? Everything OK?
