Planned home birth with a CNM at 41 weeks 4 days. The support from my doula was amazing, and my husband turned from being somewhat nervous about the home setting to telling everyone it was the best choice for us. About 11 hours from when I decided it was real labor until I pushed him out with the cord around his neck, which isn't the emergency it is typically made out to be. Skilled providers are essential. He was perfect and so alert right away, latched on easily and has been a nursing champ. He weighed 7 lb 8 oz, 20 in long.
