Why does my baby throw up so much at night but not during the day? During the day she'll burp when we burp her but it sounds like she swallows her vomit instead of bringing it up. At night I burp her for twice as long, sometimes she doesn't burp at all, sometimes she does but when I put her down she almost always throws up. I just layed her down after burping her for 40 minutes and she spit up so I've picked her up to burp again and she threw up again and it splattered on my face (so now I'm wide awake 😳). Is she just saving it all for nighttime? She'll occasionally grizzle when she spits up but she doesn't cry or scream and she's always calm when I put her in her bassinet.
