Breast Pump Through Insurance?

Hi ladies!
Can anyone give me advice on where to start when trying to qualify for a free breast pump through insurance?  I’ve been getting emails but they are all through 3rd parties and I’m worried I’m going to be scammed somehow.

Call your insurance and find out who they work with.  Otherwise you could end up having to pay a portion out of pocket. They’ll also tell you which types they cover so you can choose.

When I had horizon BCBS I just called them and they connected me with their medical equipment department and they told me which options I had and I placed the order directly with them myself. Now I have Medicaid and my midwife is placing the order for me. I’d just call the insurance first and ask them.

I used aeroflow.com it was super easy and I didn't get scammed .

I used edgepark because I have bcbs and they no longer allow you to use aeroflow and I received my pump within a week of ordering with no issues!

You can contact your insurance company. I went through Target’s program with McKesson (medical supply company). I just had to fill in my info, my dr info, my ins info, and pick out the pump I wanted. Mckesson took care of verifying everything and I had my pump in like a week.
