Balloon catheter stories?

I am getting induced Monday with the balloon catheter. I am so nervous.

I had double balloon catheter to induce and the contractions that followed were so painful. They put me on morphin after hours of horrible pain. I didn't end up having the baby until 3'days later. My inducement was not pleasant and lasted 4 days until my baby boy arrived, but so worth it. He's amazing. Good luck to you! It ll all be a distant

I had it done this Tuesday and I was scared! It was not bad at all! My doctor broke my water at the same time so that was painful but the balloon part was a walk in the park! Good luck! 😊

I didn't feel it, but it hurt to ore for at least a week after. Not bad, but I was convinced I had s bladder infection.

I had it with my first. It worked and wasn't bad at all.

I had it done twice. (the fist induction didn't work)

The first time they did it it was truly awful. But the second time they did it I was dreading it and it wasn't as bad as the first. Much easier the second time around. Just depends on who does the process. Hopefully you get someone good!

Just relax and don't psych yourself out. It'll be over before you know it.

It was totally easy and painless for me. I was totally nervous too and when she told me she was all done I was like "What?? Awesome!" Haha I didn't have any pain or discomfort other than the fact that something was taped to my leg to keep it in place and it came out all on its own when I went to the bathroom (which I was told was fine because it meant it was done doing its thing!)
