Anticipatory grief - Fatigue
Hey everyone,
My mom is dying of cancer. She’s only 43 and I’m turning 26 in a few months. She’s in palliative care and has a few months left to live.
I was just wondering if it’s normal to feel exhausted. I don’t feel depressed per say, I’m sad about it but it’s not overwhelming. I’ve known for a long time that she’s going to die. Lately I’m so exhausted I can’t stay awake. Evenings are so hard. I go to bed at 8:30 and get up at 8:00. Staying awake past 7:30 is a huge challenge even after coffee.
Is this a normal part of grieving?
