Yesterday I finally went to the grocery store alone while my husband was home with our 2 years old son. He almost never spend time with him alone, by his own choice. When I came back I saw that our son had painted all over his toys with an ink pen . I pointed it out, I said "uhm, our son has painted all over his toys" and held one up so he could see, and my husband got super defensive and said "Well I never brought a pen in here so I don't know how that could have happened". I got really annoyed and said "but you were supposed to look after him." But he just shrugged and claimed it wasn't on him. I'm so upset. He clearly had just been lying on the couch with his phone and let our son wreck havoc while I was gone. And how could anyone even reason like that? I'm boiling and he doesn't think he's done anything wrong. 😡
