38+5 and this trimester I’ve had the worst acid reflux of my life! To those of you who normally have it anyway I’m sorry for ever doubting the extent of your misery🤢 It’s made my bp shoot through the roof so Dr. has me taking protonix daily until delivery to try and keep it down. It makes me sleep SO HARD! I haven’t woken up drooled to my pillow the entire pregnancy and now it’s all I want to do! I forgot how wonderful sleep is when you’re not constantly dying on stomach acid! Has anyone had any weird side affects to the protonix? Literally the only thing I’ve taken the entire pregnancy was a few as need morning sickness pills in 1st trimester and tums for the really bad nights this trimester. I trust my doctor but when growing another life I don’t like putting anything unnecessary into my body. Hearing personal experiences always helps ease my mind!
