Finding a job while 27+ weeks pregnant or how to cut costs being a sahm
So this is going to be a novel of a question so please bare with me and if you get the end and have any tips, advice, thank you so so much!
So long story short me and my husband are mil to mil in the usaf stationed in California and our enlistment is up in June and we want to move back home to Texas. We have some money in savings not a ton but a good starting point. Well I’m due in September and we plan on moving beginning to mid June. So I’ll need to find a doctor and everything right when I get there since I’ll be in my third trimester. I intend on applying for jobs in March. And me being in Cali I’d request for a Skype or phone interview since I’m so far and we need to save all our money for the move and maternity leave ect. Do you suggest me be up front and tell jobs I apply for that I’m pregnant? Do I not say anything and hope they aren’t totally passed when I come to work with a huge belly. Right now I work in a hospital setting and intend on doing the same work back at home, I’m contemplating if working per diem would be better because I thought maybe jobs will be more inclined to hire me if I have no benefits. And being per diem I pick me hrs (kinda) also if I can’t find anything does anybody have any tips on how to cut costs and be a sahm for about 6 months on a single income without going under. It’s so hard to plan because me and my husband haven’t started looking for jobs in Texas yet because it’s still to far away.
