Would you be scared?

So we just moved back to our home state of Colorado from Texas, and I was on Medicaid there and called to cancel it and FINALLY after 3hrs got it cancelled but the great state of Texas wont fax the letter to my state saying I no longer get benefits in that state so I have to wait tell March when they end and send the letter to me via mail, I'm due in Mid May and I will have to wait tell March to even apply for Medicaid here in Colorado and then how ever long it takes to get approved and then find a doc and get seen so at very least 1 full month! I'm completely freaking out and scared not being covered and being 25 weeks pregnant. I haven't had my glucose test done yet and I'm having swelling bad in my feet (normal in most pregnancies) but just concerned not being covered and somthing happening with the baby. Anyone els gone through this? I know I can go to the hospital if needed but that means BILLS!! AND DEBT I can't afford. My husband thinks I'm overreacting being so emotional about it and thinks ill be fine and I probably will be but I had taken chances like this. When we moved to Texas from Colorado 2 years ago it was super easy and fast, Colorado faxed the papers needed to Texas the very same day as I cancelled my benefits so I assumed Texas did the same.
