I was 15 and didn’t want it. I regret it every day of my life but I was young and didn’t realise the impact it would have had on my mental state about it. I know having a child at 15 can also affect everybody’s mental state. But for me, I feel like an awful person, I’d never do it again. If it happens again, I know that it will stay. My SO knows about this. He has a son himself and we have said that we will have a child together soon (were not trying yet) but we have both said if it happens then it happens.

I’ve not been in this situation personally, but my mom was. None of us were planned. She got pregnant at 16 and then again at 17. Kept both babies. Wanted her tubes tied, no doctor would do it because she only had sons and no daughters. Was on birth control, got pregnant at 21. She had an abortion that time. 
Got on the depo. Got pregnant at 22 but didn’t find out until 16 weeks along due to her not having periods on the depo, so she kept me. Since I was a daughter, she finally got a doctor to agree to do the procedure to get her tubes tied.
