I’ve never heard of maternity pads. I guess that’s the pads that hey give at the hospital. But with my first I got overnight pads for heavy flow. They cover the entire back of your underwear so no unwanted leaking and stains. I bled for an entire month. Eventually I was able to just wear my usual pads. Only started wearing tampons again the next time I bled, which was my period.

A combo, depending on what you need. My husband became all too familiar with the pad aisle.

After 2 days of the jumbo pads from the hospital I was able to use my regular choice pad. Always infinity is my go to. But I did have to use the large maternity pads longer with my first. More like a week.
