How long after??

So I’m 5w and 6d pregnant with our first. We couldn’t be happier. We have a drs apt on Monday and we’re thinking of telling the family afterwards. Is it too soon? How long did you wait till you told family? Do you wish you would’ve waited a little longer??

Told the family at 10 weeks after 2 ultrasounds. Told everyone in my 12th week after we received the results of the NIPT test.

We told our family with in a week of us finding out so about 4-5w but we didn’t announce until after our first ultrasound around 10w we figure we’d rather have the support behind us if anything were to have happened, now we’re almost 18w and doing good

We told our parents and a few close friends after my first appt. (5 wks), my spouse had to tell his employer for insurance purposes, but we're going to wait until we know the gender to announce on social media and everyone else we know.

I told my family as soon as I found out there was some bumps when I was 5-9 weeks pregnant but I was happy to have my family there for me and not go through it alone. Then at 12 weeks we announced on social media and now I have a healthy month old baby girl.
