7 weeks 3 days. Had our first prenatal appointment this morning. Doctor said all he saw was an empty sac. Said my sac didn’t look too healthy either. He got my bloodwork and sent me to an imaging specialist for a second opinion. I felt so small crying in a waiting room. I could feel everyone staring at me. Went back to the US room. She starts the exam and asks me “Is his equipment from the 80’s?” Shows us the screen and it turns out I’m only 6 weeks. She said everything looked great. The heart started beating about 2 days ago.

Either his equipment was too old to see my little bean or he wasn’t looking for something so small based on the dates I gave him. Instant tears. My new due date is October 2nd. It’s been a roller coaster of a day but everything is fine. I can’t believe it
