Talk Therapy

Just got back from an introductory meeting with a mental health counselor. It turned into a mini therapy session, which is how we came to establish that talk therapy will work for me. But HOLY CRAP. It feels so good to be able to just unload on someone that knows nothing about you and is just there to listen and maybe offer some advice. Going in next week for an actual examination to establish a treatment plan, but I feel like 50% lighter already. My problems are obviously still there, but just being validated for the way I've been feeling is helping.
