Hi I need to vent I’m 15 wks and 5 days I went to my doctors appointment today and i was expecting a good outcome well it was time for my doctor to use the Doppler and he had a hard time finding the heartbeat he lightly ran the instrument on my pelvis and then on to my fat he was doing it lightly and then after 5 mins he’s said by 15 weeks I should be hearing the baby’s heat beat but I don’t because ur weight and he right away told me that I should go to the county hospital because they can help me he said because of my weight I need ultrasounds instead of just using the Doppler I told him in my last pregnancy they use firmer pressure but not too much to hurt me and he said no I can’t do that so he clearly ignored me when I told him well what do I do now so I followed him to the next room with the nurse and I told her and he right away jumped in and said I can’t do it because her weight we don’t have an ultrasound machine I asked his nurse what can I do she called a clinic for me and referred me to another doctor in a different facility she said this doctor can help me. You guys I’m just so angry if my weight was an issue he could have told me from the first time he saw me I feel embarrassed and hurt
