So i know that it’s normal to have a lower supply at night but my LO gets so mad and won’t latch anymore after a short while. He cries so much when this happens. The past two nights i have broken down and given him expressed breast milk from earlier in the day or frozen. Tonight when he did this I let my SO feed him the bottle and i pumped to hopefully stimulate more milk - and ended up pumping 3 oz collectively.

What does this mean? And what do I do about it? Is there a way to increase my supply at night? Am I hurting anything by topping him off with expressed milk?

This is so frustrating and it sucks feeling like I’m not satisfying my baby. He is a chunky little 5 week old and we have had no problems with supply until now. What gives!?
