Is the 6 weeks healing period from excercise as well?  I’m 4 weeks PP

Yes. You are still bleeding and not completely healed yet. Your body needs a lot of rest and overworking it could cause increased bleeding, inside tearing or even hemorrhage. Try to wait the 6 weeks and mention it to the doctor at your check up. Take care mamma.

I started back with walking and light yoga around 4 weeks pp. My bleeding has stopped and I feel pretty much back to normal. I don't overdo it by any means, but I think light exercise is great during the recovery period. If your bleeding picks up or you feel any discomfort, then back off.
