Housing for pregnant women in NY

I am trying to get family housing & it seems next to impossible! At the moment I'm in what's called transitional housing & because I'm pregnant they won't let me stay here---they say it's a "liability" (how? No idea) I feel like I'm getting the run around I been asking the agency I'm in for help and they gimme the "there's no room" line (yet they taking on new clients all the time) I been looking and giving them resources to help me but seems like they turn a blind eye to it or they not taking it seriously. I been asking social workers and counselors at the doc office and hospitals hopefully they can help because idk what to do anymore and I'm trying not to be stressed being I'm a high risk. NYCHA and section 8--the waiting is so insane I feel like this baby will be almost a teen before they get to my name smh
