Antidepressant??

Has anyone continued to take there antidepressant while prego ?

I was put on zoloft after a suicide attempt, i was told that is the best one during pregnancy.

I was taking 2 before I got pregnant and had to stop one but continued to take the lowest dose of the other. Zoloft. One of the safer ones during pregnancy and my baby is very healthy so far!

No. Doc was concerned about withdrawal symptoms not for me but for baby. I was weaned off.

I did throughout my pregnancy, I had been taking 15mg of Remeron (generic name: mirtazapine) once I found out I was pregnant I went down to 7.5mg, I had no issues during pregnancy & my daughter is now a healthy happy 2 year old, my only advice (& obviously discuss w/ your doctor) would be if you go down on your dose during pregnancy, go back up as soon as you have your baby, I waited too long & ended up w/ some pretty major postpartum depression that I think could have been avoided or lessened if I’d gone back up sooner

Had to cut cold turkey as I was taking Lexapro which is an SSRI. No other antidepressants worked for me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had to switch what kind I was taking. 
I was taking paxle before since it was safe with breastfeeding, but had to switch to Prozac when I got pregnant since paxle isn’t okay. My OB was able to know what was okay and not and prescribe the new one without talking to my psychiatrist.

I have no experience with either, but you really need to speak to your doctor about this.
