Which potty is better?

Question

Toddler potty that is separate from the normal toilet or a potty seat that sits on top of normal toilet (would require stool for toddler to reach)

We started with a separate potty but switched to a toilet seat with an attached potty seat when his use got more consistent. Its very convenient to have the attached seat.

We have two toddler potty chairs for our daughter. She does good with them and is almost fully potty trained.👌🏾 However, we may consider purchasing one that goes on top of the toilet as well.

Depends on the child. My daughter didn't do well with a training potty but learned within a couple days with a seat for the regular toilet
