Cold?

My girl will be 6 months next week. She woke up today with a cough. Now she has a runny nose. No fever and happy besides fighting naps. 
Her dr. Said just keep an eye on her and bring her in if she gets worse. 
Anyone else? She's never been sick but once before and she actually ran a fever that time and didn't have a cough.

My baby got sick on Sunday and is finally feeling better today. Same exact symptoms as your LO- cough, runny nose, fussy, clingy, but thankfully no fever. I've been using Zarbees vapor rub on his chest and back morning and night. Baby Tylenol 3 times a day. Sleeping with the humidifier on. Nose frieda. And warm bottles. There's also a cough syrup for infants from Zarbees that works good and is all natural/ organic. It's no fun having a sick baby but your LO will be just fine in a few days.

My lo has had this for about a week. Went to the doctors because it sounded like it had moved to her chest. He said the only time to worry with colds and babies is when their eating habits change.

Things that have helped me through baby colds:
1. Cold air mist humidifier
2. Runing hot showers to make steam for baby and holding baby in the bathroom (I only do this one if it is really bad)
3. Nose frida (this really works!)
4. Keep baby hydrated

My daughter has been in daycare the last month and has gotten RSV and pneumonia now she has a cold 😫. If it’s just a runny nose and coughing I wouldn’t worry too much especially if she’s happy- you’ll know if it’s serious. For the more severe illness my daughter would just lay on the floor and fall asleep when I’d put her in front of her toys and then she started breathing very fast. With it being a cold I definitely recommend running a cool mist humidifier and putting saline drops in her nose at every diaper change to keep the mucus thin and manageable for her. Good luck!!
