Are you suppose to clean a 2 month olds mouth?

My mom mentioned to me about cleaning my baby's mouth but I had never known I'm suppose to, am I? And if so how? I'm a ftm

Use warm water on a wash cloth and gently wipe the gums. Helps them get used to it for when they have teeth and gets any leftover milk residue out

I bought specific wipes at toys r rus for cleaning his mouth and gums, but public health nurse said just luke warm water and face cloth and go in and rub all around like youd do for yourself..atleast once a day, so i put it with my morning routine to remember, but i guess it helps  come time to teach brushing teeth  and also simply maintain hygiene  :)

I got these little finger things that had soft rubber bristles on them. Worked for teething and also for cleaning gums.
