My husband has always went above and beyond for his family. For years he was the only one paying his fathers mortgage even though his sister and 3 children lived there as well. For years he funded his nieces and nephews extracurricular activities because their mother was to lazy to get a job. For years he was the only transportation to take his father, sister, and aunt any where.

When his aunt had to have a hip replacement he was the one who drove her to the hospital and stayed there until she was out of surgery and was recovering, he went back every day after work and set with her until she got released.

Until recently he was the rock in his family until he realized how much it was effecting ours. So he took a few steps back and decided to focus on us. But he didn’t cut them out, he still talks to them every other day and if they ever actually need anything he’s there.

But today’s his birthday, it’s 11:25pm and not a single fucking one of them have called,texted or messaged him on social media. And I’m honestly pissed!!

Normally birthdays aren’t a big deal to us but if it’s one of their birthdays and he doesn’t call them as soon as he wakes up their all in feelings and claiming he doesn’t care.

When in fact they don’t give two shits about my husband unless he’s doing something for him.
