Hello! My fiancé and I have been TTC 3 years. I have unexplained fertility and have seen several specialists. Well my MIL works at our local jail and told us last week there is a lady there about to have her 7th child, a little girl. She needs someone to go get the baby once she’s born the hospital gives her 24 hours if not she will be turned into CPS. My MIL instantly thought of us! Her family is raising her other 6 children so they can not handle this baby. The mom is currently 5 months pregnant right now and baby is healthy and mom is on no drugs as she is in jail. My MIL is the one designated to take her to her appts so she has seen sonograms and all that. Anyways, I do plan to get a lawyer to draw up paperwork and all that good stuff. I do not want the mother to know who we are because that makes me nervous. Any one have any advice? Or adopted straight out of the hospital?
