Spotting, is this normal?

This morning I woke up with some spotting. I found out I was pregnant a month ago and this is my normal period time. I’m calling a doctor but should I be scared?

Call your doctor I'm going to do the same thing right now and my HCG numbers are super low but rising I think I'm either having a miscarriage or an ectopic pregnancy but I've also heard that spotting is also completely normal so I think it's best just to let your doctor now
