Leaving during an argument or rather a discussion isn’t an option in our relationship. It leaves the other person in a state of uncertainty and it’s not right. We don’t do it

Not let my husband act like a child and make him sit down and dicuss our problems like adults. Thats a tantrum not a cooling off period. Nothing gets solved that way. Hopefully you guys can find a healthy way to communicate

Depends what the argument is about. I’m all for walking away when something is getting way too outta hand but that doesn’t mean to leave an issue unsolved.

If the arguments got heated and both of you are mad then its best to let it go and talk about it when you both are calmed. You won’t make any decisions when you’re mad and not think ahead if you actually mean what you’re saying when you’re mad.

My husband and I are both hot headed. I won’t admit this to him haha but when he walks away it’s really helpful! He’s only gone for a short while but he somehow knows when I’m calm. He thinks I hate it but I secretly love that he knows me that well! After that if it’s a serious talk we continue it on a calm level then kiss and make up! If it’s a silly one we just skip the talking and makeup

I voted keep it going but not to keep the argument up. You guys actually just need to sit down and discuss it. You can’t just avoid each other thinking it will go away because that will just make it fester. And if you let it go you truly have to let go of it and not keep it bottled up. So I’d say sit down and communicate with each other. Tell him how walking away made you feel and maybe let him know if he needs to cool off to tell you “hey I need a minute” then he can walk away but he has to come right back when he’s done and finish talking about things like an adult.

I voted "keep it going". Not because I just want to scream and fight or anything of that sort but because until we talk and hash out our feelings and actually RESOLVE the issue, I will not let it go. I refuse to live in any situation where I don't have peace. If the issue is hanging over my head, I'm anxious. I cant/wont live that way. My husband at times wants to be the "let it go" type. That doesn't fly in this house. I grew up in a very tense home and felt like I was walking on eggshells all the time. I wont do that in my own home or with my family.

We do walk away from each other in arguments, we have never left the house, unless it was already planned (partner goes to the gym in the evenings) 
But we always talk about it to resolve it :)

Tbh we dont really have arguments. Sometimes like 3-4 times a year over petty small stuff. We just ignore each other for a few days and then everything is back to normal. But we never argued over big things. We mostly have disagreements when we are both tired and angry at other things.
