Ive been curious lately and thought about getting a vibrator but my boyfriend says hes intimidated by that because he thinks ill like it more than him.. any thoughts on this?

My boyfriends view on sex toys is completely different. He sees them as his personal arsenal of ways to make me orgasm. His goal is always my pleasure, no matter what it takes. He sometimes will have out a vibrator or two, a butt plug, a dildo and nipple clamps (or more things) all at the same time. We also practice BDSM, and he enjoys being in control and being able to do whatever he pleases to my body (there are always safe words for if I choose to be done with whatever is happening). Sometimes giving him that freedom will help him be more accepting to sex toys. Some men are terrified of sex toys. I've seen both types of guys. For me, I have to be with someone that can handle the sex lifestyle that I want, and I just so happened to find a guy who loves that lifestyle too. And he knows that sometimes, dick just isn't enough. It takes so much more to please a woman than penetration, and he knows that there is work to be put into it, with or without his dick being involved. So, if your man wants to make sure you're getting the proper pleasure, you 100% have to communicate. If you want sex toys, tell him. If hes not comfortable with that, then ask him to watch you masterbate with sex toys... likely he will say yes, and likely he will want to join you when he sees your enjoyment, and that will give him the opportunity to see how to use it, and what feels good to you. And then talk about it afterwards. Tell him what you liked and disliked (dont be rude about it, but the more feedback you give him, the better he will get). Sorry for rambling, but I have a massive collection of sex toys and a very intense sexual life and I feel like that is so important for women, especially because there is so much or a social stigma of shame when it comes to female sexuality and pleasure. 
If hes still not comfortable with it, buy yourself all the toys you want, and just use them when hes not around.

My husband was reluctant at first as well but just explain to him that it makes you feel good and you want to try new things and that doesnt mean you dont like having sex with him. Many women myself included can't orgasm from sex. No vibrator no orgasm for me but I still love having sex with my husband.
