How early after first baby are you trying for a second??

Is it crazy to want to try right away for another one? I absolutely love our baby girl. It took 4 years to finally get her here healthy. I am just so in love I want her to have a sibling to grow up with.

As soon as my husband gets home from deployment so the baby will be about 4 months at that time

It’s not necessarily crazy, but most doctors recommend a year of recovery for your body before getting pregnant again.  Obviously a lot of people don’t wait, but having kids super close together can increase your risks for certain complications like pre-mature birth, low birth weight, etc.

We were planning on trying when my first was one but happened to get pregnant when she was 8 months so now they are 18 months apart. We probably want a third but my body needs a break so it will be probably two years until we start trying again.

We just found out we’re pregnant. We have a 6m old. We wanted them close. We just didn’t prevent. Took 2 years to get pregnant with Carson & 3 months for the new babe. Crazy. They will be able 15 months apart ❤️

We waited till my son was around a year and a half. With my son it took basically two years to get pregnant, so we weren’t sure how long it would take us to conceive baby #2. I just knew I wasnt willing to do the 2 kids under 2 thing. My second was conceived within 6 months so my son will be 2.5 when she’s born.
