Did your epidural leave you with long lasting back pain?

I have scoliosis and am worried about having an epidural. Looking for some tips and insight.

Sometimes women blame the epidural when it was really that your spine realigned improperly when the spine went back post birth, or from the baby injuring your back on the way out. One of my babies, I had really bad back pain after birth and my friends blamed the epidural, turns out out my son injured my tailbone on the way out. So you may hear stories of epidural injury,  and I'm not saying it can't happen, but often the pain isn't really caused by the epidural.

Had the epidural 9 years ago and still suffer from lower back pain. It’s only when I bend over for to long (sweeping, picking up toys, etc.. ) I’ve went to physio and a chiropractor and nothing has fixed it. My doctors have determined its from the epidural.

My stepmom swears the epidural caused some back issue for her but I had it and no issues. I actually feel phantom pain and irritation from the IV I had for four days (c section) and it’s been over nine years.

I had a numb thigh for a while after, but no back problems.

I did have a very sore spot where the epidural was and couldn’t crack my back for about a year or so afterwards. Then it completely went away.
