I’m old fashioned plus I think only true gentlemen pay for the first few dates. I always bring my money and I’m ready to pay my portion. I’ve only had to do that once and I was shocked he made me pay lol never talked to him again! With my husband he paid until we started officially dating then I started to pick up some checks. If a woman wants to pay there’s nothing wrong with that! But personally I think it shows a lot about a man if he wants to pay for his date. Shows how he will treat her in the future.

When I was single and broke I would go on dates just cause I was hungry.. omfg so glad I grew up because that was horrible

When I first started to date my husband I always offered to pay on dates, I thought it was only fair. He always insisted on not so we comprised and I buy coffee runs and he gets the dinners. At least that way I don’t feel like he’s always paying for me lol
