Hey ladies who have experienced gestational hypertension:

I’m taking 200mg of labetol 3x a day (600mg total). Have been for about 2 weeks now. I’m still seeing numbers in the 130s/80s sometimes a little higher sometimes a little lower. It makes me wonder what it would be if I didn’t take the medicine! 😟yikes! Should I be worried that it’s only barely keeping me below the danger zone (doc only wants me to worry or call if it’s 140/90 or higher)? You’d think with three pills a day it would be a little closer to normal. I’m 25 weeks pregnant and am scared it’s only going to get worse.
