Normal or cause for concern?
I'm 16 years old and about a month ago before my last period in early January, my breasts became pretty sore which is normal for me so I wasn’t concerned at all, but after I got my period the discomfort only went away in my right breast. My left one continued to be mildly uncomfortable, which I only noticed because I am a stomach sleeper. When I would lay down directly on my left breast it became uncomfortable and hurt, and it felt like there was a weird pressure. It didn’t hurt during the day or when I was walking around, stretching or anything. I’ve checked for lumps and I’m pretty sure theres nothing there, but then again I’m not too sure what I’m exactly looking for. However, a little less than a week ago, my breasts both became sore again since my new period started today. The soreness has yet to go away completely so I can not currently distinguish b/n PMS and whatever else was causing discomfort prior. I have stopped sleeping on my stomach as to try not to agitate.
Also, the pain I was experiencing was not just in one area (localized).
I have an annual physical in about a month so I'm going to a doctor relatively soon, but do you guys think I should go sooner?
I'm definitely scaring myself with a whole bunch of “what-if's” right now.
