Please don’t hate me

Okay I’m posting this anonymously because I’m scared people will call me a monster or a child abuser or something... is it ok to give your toddler decaf coffee? My son is OBSESSED with our coffee. Every time I turn my back I catch him drinking it. If I have it somewhere he can reach (like the coffee table) and I move it away he throws a tantrum. Which is fine. I’m okay with saying no to him. But is there any harm giving him some decaf every once in a while? I feel like there are worse things that people give to their toddlers (like pop or literally any candy). I’m aware that decaf is not 100% caffeine-free but I’m talking like a minuscule amount. Please don’t judge me, I wouldn’t be here asking if I didn’t care about my child’s well-being. I’ve never let him have coffee, but I’ve walked into the room twice and caught him guzzling from my YETI with a giant coffee stain down the front of his shirt. 🤦🏼‍♀️

We love coffee in our family. It’s basically a staple. So he will probably be introduced to it at a younger age anyway.
