Weird periods

So question for you ladies.

Last month I missed my period... so Sunday I was 30 days late & I started spotting some. Yesterday & today I’m cramping and have been more than spotting, but less than my normal period. I wouldn’t fill up a full pad in a day. When I wipe I see a decent amount of blood. Has this happened to anyone else?

If this helps I have an 8 month old & I started BC shortly after she was born then I stopped it because it made me feel weird. I started it again a few months later and stopped it again. I haven’t been on it since and that was in October. My cycles have been a little longer than normal like 40-46 days but this is the longest.
