39 week appointment, no change 😭

I just finished my 39 week appointment. I’m still not dilated, but a little “softer” than last time, whatever that means 😂 I’m getting super upset about it. I know babies come when they want, but my first was born at 38w6d and I had dilated to a 4 already.

Doctor did a positioning ultrasound to confirm baby is head down. She said usually something would have happened by now! Baby is in fact head down.

The doctor talked about induction after 41 weeks. I’m seriously hoping not to have to make it that far.

To top it all off, I found out my mom needs surgery on the wrist she broke two weeks ago, and she was planning to watch my older daughter for me when I go into labor.
