I lost my virginity

I just lost my virginity earlier today (I’m 18) and if I’m being honest it wasn’t that good. When he first tried to put it in it wouldn’t! It’s like my vagina was closed and no matter how hard he tried it wouldn’t go in. Maybe after 5 minutes of trying we did more foreplay - focusing more on me this time. Then when he tried again it went in so I’m assuming that was the problem before. Anyways as he was going it honestly didn’t feel good at all, I don’t mean it was “too painful” that I couldn’t enjoy it. It was just a burning sensation and I never had to ask him to stop but I didn’t feel anything! It feels great when he fingers me so I guess I expected the same feeling? I don’t know if this is normal or if something is going on. Any advice would help, thank you!

I talked to him about It and mentioned how next time I’ll need much more foreplay and he agreed. But he did say that when he’s had sex with others before he was able to just shove it right in and skip foreplay all together. I don’t understand how those girls can do that but I can’t?
