Weird period?

So I was due to start my period on the 8th and my bbt took a big nose dive below the cover line that morning so I expected....first day was pretty normal... heavy flow...a little lighter than normal but about the same...bright red blood...with a few tiny clots about the size of a pea or smaller...cramps were normal had to take Tylenol around the clock and use a heating pad....next day no cramps bright red light flow...very unusual...I normally have two heavy heavy days and huge clots...next to day of just spotting first day red next day pink and today nothing at all...period is normally 7days....temp stayed low and then jumped back up today...anybody have any ideas?
