Am i being selfish?

Okay so let me start by saying my boyfriend has a two year old daughter who i absolutely adore we split weeks with her mom so this week we have her Tuesday-Thursday. I just got done working 6 days straight with bronchitis as well as an ear infection as well as being 16 weeks pregnant and I’m just exhausted i have the next two days off and he wants me to watch her both days and then i work another 6 days straight and he wants me to watch her on both of my days off AGAIN. Am i wrong for just wanting one day to just get myself together and catch up on some sleep? I’m not going to have that option when the baby comes 🤦🏼‍♀️
Update: well wish me luck I’m watching her today and having to take her to my monthly check in with my OB as well as ultrasound later ALL BY MYSELF. My boyfriends at work, i appreciate everyone telling me I’m in the right his explanation is he saves money on daycare when i can watch her, but I’m not gonna have that option once my daughters born and he also doesn’t work weekends right now so every other weekend he’s home by himself just relaxing. Why can’t i have that?

Your not his baby sitter. She’s there primarily to see him, and bond. And if your ill why would he want you around her.

You are definitely not being selfish. He should respect how shitty you're feeling and let you sleep and have your relaxation time. Especially since you're pregnant! Being a step parent is hard, you chose to be in that childs life. Either way it's still his child and his ex's child. His ex can watch her if your partner cant.

This is tough. You are being selfish but that’s not necessarily bad. You need time to rest and heal. But on the other side of it, if you marry this man, you will be a step mom and parents don’t have sick days.. if I were you, I would be honest. Say you’re still not feeling well and he needs to find a different plan OR he needs to stay home and watch his child because he’s the true parent. He did ask so I feel you have every right to say no, but you know your relationship better than we do. Idk how long you guys have been together but that’s a lot of trust to so easily ask if you’d watch her on your days off. So maybe say that. “I appreciate and admire that you trust me with baby but I cannot do it this time. I need to rest. I need to feel better for the baby I’m carrying. Please watch her or find someone else so I can rest” good luck!! Like I said, if you genuinely feel spread too thin, say it. He’s not a mind reader and will let you watch her if you don’t say anything.
