Were you able to have sex successfully on the first try after giving birth?

Just tried and it hurt SOOO bad. It was like my husband didn't fit anymore. 😭 We couldn't have sex because of the pain and things felt way too tight.

It took almost 6 months for it to not hurt. It's different for everyone and it definitely takes time. Trust me you don't want to rush it!

Wow after reading these my fiancé is one lucky man haha should have him read some! With our first we were going at it by 4 weeks pp and with our second it was closer to 8 weeks pp and everything was great! Baby number one was 7 11.5 and baby number two was 8.14 they were both natural and no rips or tears or anything!

No we didnt. It took us about 4 tries until the pain was bearable enough to keep going.

It was the worst!!!! At 3 weeks pp I ripped a stitch (not during sex...I was holding my baby and trying to slide across the bed). At my 6 week appt he had to fix my stitches and I swear I still feel uncomfortable 16 months later. I also have endo on my cervix so yeah. Sex isn’t my thing.

With my first, he was vaginal and his big headed ass tore me so had to get stitches. His father couldn’t wait so we had sex at around 3-4 wks pp and it stung at first but after a couple strokes, it was fine. With my girls, they were c-section and their father and I had sex at around 2 weeks pp (he got overly excited by my new boobs lol) and that time it didn’t hurt at all. But I have noticed that after I had my girls, I can’t him going as deep anymore. Idk if he’s hitting my cervix or what, but when he puts it all in I feel like this stabbing pain so idk 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had a c-section so I didn’t have that issue with my vagina hurting. But we were careful because my incision wasn’t 100% healed yet, but it didn’t make it super difficult or anything.

This sounds bad but the first time we tried after having our baby I was so nervous about it hurting (had a 3rd degree tear down and a 2nd degree tear up) that I got drunk before so I wouldn’t exactly remember the pain 😂🙈 
*before people attack me-baby was at grandparents for the night and I couldn’t breastfeed
