Need advice

So I’ve been seeing this guy for almost a year now. We’ve been on multiple dates, I’ve met his parents, and we’ve had sex. We’re very comfortable with each other. He hasn’t asked me to be his girlfriend and we don’t get gifts for each other on holidays or birthday. Sometimes i feel like we’re just fuck buddies but i don’t want that to be the case. I don’t know what to do?
