When will you install your car seat?

The day we leave. It literally takes about 15 seconds to hook in.

My base is in, but the actual carseat is in the house.

I have the base installed did that on one of the warm nice days we had a week or so ago since i knew we wouldn’t have any more super nice days before he’s here. But definitely don’t have the car seat in the car. I actually just washed the car seat cover since i was filthy from my daughter.

My SO will install while I'm in recovery at the hospital after the birth.

I’m 36 + 3 and installing in the next few days. My inspection is next Tuesday so I’ll have it officially taken care of then :)

Having baby at home so sometime after she’s born, and if any emergency comes up my husband is a pro at installing seats so he can have it in very quickly 😊

We installed the base at 34 weeks, the car seat is inside with the hospital bag and will stay there until we are heading in.

I don’t have a car so never. 🤷‍♀️ 😊 Seems like a completely alien thought to a lot of people. And to all the baby books that seem to spend a huge portion talking about car safety.

I plan on it asap but just the base in case we get in a wreck I don't want to have to get another one in between now and then
