Sex hurts

Recently I’ve started dating this guy and everything is going super well between us. But when he fingers me he gets blood on his fingers everytime. And I’m definitely not on my period. I don’t know if he’s too rough or something but it’s making me sort of self conscious. And when we have sex it hurts pretty bad. And I’ve dated and had sex with a few men before and it’s never hurt like this. He’s not like super big down there either. He’s probably just a little over average.
