Cyst on Ovaries Update

I had pain in my lower abdomen for about 2 weeks yesterday I stood up and it was excruciating so I went to the ER to see what was going on the doctor said I have a cyst on my right ovarie that is about 3.5 centimeters. Has anyone had this issue before and if so how were you treated ? I made an appointment for today at 2:45 pm I’m just a little worried. I would appreciate any advice.

I went to the obgyn today and she said that my cyst is 5 centimeters and she wants me to have surgery to drain it since it’s giving me so much pain. She also said while they are draining the cyst the will check my tubes to make sure they don’t have scars or they aren’t blocked. Which will be good for me I had an ectopic pregnancy a year ago and I have t been able to get pregnant again. I will be glad when all of this is behind me.
