Catnapping 3 month old 😴

Hey all! For about 3 weeks or so my son is only napping for exactly 40 minutes and then hes awake. He sleeps great at night so i dont think hes having issues getting into another sleep cycle. If i try to soothe him back to sleep it almost never works and this is becoming exhausting 😞 anyone go through this and what did you do? He stays up for 1.5 hours now and if hes tired enough will fall asleep pretty easily, and he eats 5oz formula now as i recently had to increase it from 4oz
